No. There are no joining fees, no sales commissions, or any other hidden fees. This is a community service resource forum, a place for domain owners to hang out, brainstorm, and just have fun.

How is this site supported?:

Well, I truly believe in this cause, so I am glad to fund this initiative out of my personal resources. Considering that there are not that many premium domain names out there, it is highly unlikely that this forum will attract a lot of traffic. So I expect this site's resource requirements to remain minimal, more or less what they are now. If some magical re-alignment of heavenly stars turn this site into a super busy site, and make it generate revenues (advertising, whatever...) that exceed its operating costs, my plan is to reinvest every single penny so generated into making this site even better.

Why is the focus of this discussion forum/domain-directory restricted to premium DOT COM names only?:

Each of the domain extensions comes with its own set of unique issues. we think it is better to partition discussion along the TLD boundries. If you own other TLDs, you are not out of luck. Stay tuned for more news within next couple of weeks or so..

I own premium .com domain name(s). How do I add my listing?:

Join this forum, create your listing by adding a "Domain" to your folder, and submit it for publication. It is that simple! One of our Reviewers may follow up with you for any verification, and then let you know if your listing was approved for inclusion in this directory.

Why do you not list domain prices?:

This is not an auction house. We do not sell any domains around here. Therefore, our Domain Directory is designed to contain general information about the availability of premium quality, highly selected, truly generic domain names. These domains are probably being auctioned off at a domain auction site such as SlashRoot.Com That is where you are going to find the pricing related information. If we were to duplicate such information here, the domain owners would have the additional burdon of keeping this information current, instead of tryig to get the best returns on their investment in premium quality DOT COM domain names.

What type of domain names are accepted here for listing?:

For a domain name to be listed at this site, it must meet the following criteria:

• It must be a DOT COM name. No other extensions are accepted here.
• It must be a truly generic domain name that applies to the whole industry or an entire market. For example, ServoControl.Com domain name that I am currently auctioning off at SlashRoot.Com Domain Name For Sale domain auction site.
• It can not be an Adult name. No exceptions.
• A domain must be submitted by the owner only. If you are not authorized to list a domain, DO NOT DO SO. Please be advised that it is not our responsibility to check any of your submissions for accuracy, appropriateness or validity. You will be solely responsible for your submissions.
• It must meet our (highly unscientific) approval process. ;)

How long will it take for you to process a submission?:

We carefully review every submission. Depending on the number of new requests in the pending queue, it may take between 24 hours to 72 hours. Currently, we expect the turn around time to be one business day.

How long will my domain name remain listed here?:

If your domain name meets our listing criteria, it would remain listed as long as you want.

Can I list my domains at other sites?:

Of course.

By listing a domain name in this directory, do you endorse such domain names?:

No. By accepting a domain name for listing on this site, all we are saying is: This domain name seems to be nice, and may have good potential. YMMV!

My domain was appraised for a zillion dollars. Why was it not accepted for listing here?:

As we all know, there are many so called domain appraisal experts out there that are no more than vending machines. You drop a quarter and out comes a nice looking appraisal certificate. Many are not worth the paper they are printed on. While this is largely true, I am sure there are some good domain appraisers out there as well. Your domain may indeed be worth a zillion dollars, and may have been correctly appraised by the best domain appraiser on this planet. However, we just do not have the time, resources, and expertise needed to check the accuracy (or lack thereof) of any such domain appraisals. Therefore, we do not consider any such appraisals when it comes to deciding whether or not a domain name meets our (highly unscientific) selection criteria.

Why are you so picky when it comes to selecting a domain name for listing here?:

For one simple reason. We do not want to turn this directory into DUD (Dumpsite of Useless Domains). There are quite a few domain auction sites out there that feature names like buy-this-domain-because-i-think-its-so-great.junk. They are overflowing with millions of such worthless domain names. What is the point in becoming yet another DUD?

What if I think my submission did not deserve to be deemed "unacceptable" for this forum?:

Email us. Even though there is no formal appeal/review process, and the fact that we rarely reverse such decisions, we will be glad to have a second look. Please be advised that we reserve all rights to decline any and all submissions -with or without a cause.

What are the guidelines for participating at this site?:

You are welcome to publish, opine, debate and fully participate at this forum. Please keep in mind that we list only premium quality DOT COM domain names on this site -only the names that are truly generic and apply to the entire industry. If you publish content or participate in discussions, you must not submit any unlawful, hateful, indecent, irrelevant remarks. Any content that is inappropriate for underage students is also considered unacceptable at this forum. Name calling, insults, and degrading remarks are not allowed. URL links to any web sites and advertising of any kind is also not allowed. Your participation at this forum is subject to your compliance with the Acceptable Use Policy and Publishing Guidelines of this forum. Publishing inappropriate content or violating the AUP of this forum will result in your removal from this forum. No exceptions.

What would happen if I were to submit any such content?:

If you engage in any unlawful activities, you will be solely responsible for all your actions. If you submit any inappropriate content, your submissions will be deleted from the site and you may be barred from this site forever. Govern yourself responsibly.

Can I submit my content in Spanish, Russian, Sanskrit, Chinese, Arabic, Klingon, -insert_your_language here-, etc.?:

Sure. Make sure it meets Acceptable Use Policy and Publishing guidelines of this forum. Remember, if you publish it in English, many more will benefit from it. On a personal note, considering that I do not understand any of those languages, sending me stuff in any language other than English would be a waste of Internet bandwidth. Sorry. Would it be possible for you to consider asking one of your friends to translate your masterpiece in English for you?
